Hack Island Tour - Friday 3rd July 2009
This was our 4th Annual tour of East Waterford. The tour started in the beer garden of Jack Meades. Surprisingly no one indulged
in pre tour soakage except Serge who being new was understandably scared of what was ahead of him. Bless his little cotton socks.
A quick buzz to the new "taxi to the stars" and 2 minutes later they we were off. For a fast efficient service,Ciddytours recommends JB taxis !
We arrived at the ferry and headed to the lounge wearing our fashionably chic paper pirate hats…made with loving care and
attention by our Yiddish colleague Koobze. Into Byrnes a few scoops sitting out on the deck watching the sun go down life does not get much better.
10 o'clock and back to passage on the last ferry. A visit to the sky lounge was in order to finish off the hip flasks. Into the Farleigh for a
pint or two. It was quiet, so up we headed to the New Geneva. it wasn't.
As the night rolled on we decided to stay in the Geneva and see out the night. Tired and emotional we piled into the ever reliable taxi to the
stars and headed home.
