Mullanes
The first surprise about Mullanes was discovering that they preferred the name Bobbys. We however like the name Mullanes. Inside four or five locals were deeply engrossed in an old Black and White western on TG4. The volume at a suitable level to ensure everyone could hear. Upon realising that they were being laughed at, they all sat back around to face the bar. The western theme did not end there. Out the back were 2 poker tables and some serious card players. We expected Quirk here and that is what we found.

Wacky Apple
We arrived here just before closing so really did not get to see the place in full swing. The music was thumping, so we can imagine what we missed. Fortunately it was not our hearing.

Twister Vicks
With Electric Avenue charging to get in, we headed to Twister Vicks. Having seen this place try many different names and themes, this was the first time that we had seen it with a buzz. Amazing what a good live band can do. Day Tripper got the wrong idea from the name and proceeded to show us his twisting moves. :-)

Another good night and we hope our newbie's enjoyed the tour as much as we did.
